Newspaper cross stitch patterns

“SEE-SAW. MARGERY DAW”

Have you ever made pictures to go with your nursery rhyme. Here is one that is easy to make. If you can’t sew perhaps mother or big sister will help. You can work it in cross stitch, which is very easy to do, on a coarse-meshed material like scrim, or finely checked material. The little squares must be large enough (as large as those shown here), so you can see to count them easily; because that is the only way   you can follow the design.
