From The Project Gutenberg, back in 1915 if a girl wanted to go camping, this looks like it was the book to have in your back pack.  Everything you need to know and more.  Fortunately, the knowledge base on animal behaviours, particularly relating to bears, has increased.  Just in case you might consider taking the advice in the last photograph – DON’T !
